Die CD Träume/Dreams enthält eine Auswahl von Wiegenliedern verschiedener Komponisten der Weltmusikszene. Die Künstlerinnen Nataša Antoniazzo und Mia Elezović haben Lieder ausgewählt, die selten aufgeführt und aufgenommen wurden, und bewusst die sogenannten „Hits“ wie Brahms‘ und Schuberts Schlaflieder vermieden. So hören wir die Lieder Wiegenlied im Winter und Wiegenlied im Sommer von Hugo Wolf; Richard Strauss‘ Wiegenliedchen op.49 Nr.3, das seltener aufgenommen und aufgeführt wurde im Gegensatz zu Wiegenlied op.41 Nr.1. sowie Max Regers Schlaf ein op.76 Nr.47. Auf der CD befinden sich ebenfalls zwei Uraufführungen aktiver kroatischer Komponisten: Spavaj, spavaj zlato moje von Ante Knešaurek und Uspavanka von Laura Mjedi Čuperjani, die eigens für diese CD in Auftrag gegeben wurden. Neben diesen beiden Uraufführungen werden drei weitere kroatische Komponisten, Ferdo Livadić, Hubert Pettan und Ivan Matečić Ronjgov mit ihren Schlafliedern vorgestellt. Das wunderschöne japanische Schlaflied Oyasuminasai des japanischen Komponisten Yoshinao Nakada wird auf japanisch gesungen. Unter den häufiger aufgeführten Liedern befinden sich Xavier Montsalvatges Cancion de cuna para, De Fallas Nana, Griegs Margaretens Wiegenlied und Tschaikowskys Wiegenlied. ( Nataša Antoniazzo)
Die Mezzosopranistin Nataša Antoniazzo studierte an der Musikhochschule Zagreb in Kroatien Opern-, Oratorien- und Liedgesang. Ihr Studium schloss sie mit dem Konzertdiplom ab. Sie ist Preisträgerin nationaler Wettbewerbe und Stipendiatin internationaler Organisationen und Stiftungen. Die Künstlerin hat darüber hinaus Meisterkurse bei Sena Jurinac, Grace Bumbry und Jonathan Morris besucht. Heute ist die Künstlerin Solistin des Kroatischen Nationaltheaters und tritt auf bekannten Opernbühnen in ganz Europa auf. Ihr Repertoire reicht vom Barock (Henry Purcell) über Klassik (Ch. W. Gluck, W. A. Mozart) und Romantik (G. Rossini, H. Berlioz, G. Verdi, R. Wagner) bis zu Verismo (G. Puccini) und Moderne (F. Poulenc).
Die Pianistin Mia Elezović wurde in Zagreb als Tochter einer japanischen Sängerin und eines kroatischen Professors für Theaterwissenschaft und Journalistik geboren. Sie studierte bei Zvezdana Basic an der Musik-Akademie in Zagreb, wo sie bereits im Alter von 19 Jahren ihr Diplom machte. Im Jahre 1995 setzte sie ihr Studium an der Hochschule für Musik Wien bei Hans Petermandl fort und begann zwei Jahre später ein Aufbaustudium bei Herbert Seidel an der Frankfurter Musikhochschule, welches sie 2002 abschloss.
In den Jahren 2007 bis 2009 studierte Mia Elezović an der Manhattan School of Music in New York, wo sie 2009 mit einem Master abschloss. Die Pianistin ist Preisträgerin nationaler und internationaler Wettbewerbe und Stipendiatin internationaler Organisationen und Stiftungen, u.a. der Soros-Foundation. Sie gibt jedes Jahr zahlreiche Soloabende für Klavier, tritt aber auch mit Orchestern und Kammermusik-Formationen auf. Auch als Pianistin in Kammermusik-Konzerten und als Liedbegleiterin ist Mia Elezović in vielen Ländern der Welt sehr gefragt.

The CD Träume/Dreamsfeatures a selection of lullabies by various composers from the world music scene. Artists Nataša Antoniazzo and Mia Elezović have chosen songs that are rarely performed and recorded, deliberately avoiding the so-called „hits“ like Brahms‘ and Schubert’s lullabies. Thus, we can hear the songs Wiegenlied im Winter and Wiegenlied im Sommer by Hugo Wolf. Richard Strauss‘ Wiegenliedchen op.49 Nr.3 which is less often recorded and performed compared to Wiegenlied op. 41 Nr.1. Max Reger’s Schlaf ein op.76 Nr.47 is included, and the CD also features two world premieres by active Croatian composers, Ante Knešaurek’s Spavaj , spavaj zlato moje and Uspavanka by Laura Mjedi Čuperjani, commissioned specifically for this CD. In addition to the premieres by Croatian composers, three other Croatian composers, Ferdo Livadić, Hubert Pettan, and Ivan Matečić Ronjgov, are presented with their lullabies. The beautiful Japanese lullaby Oyasuminasai by the Japanese composer Yoshinao Nakada is sung in Japanese. Nataša Antoniazzo, mezzo-soprano, studied singing at Zagreb conservatory in Croatia. She concluded her studies with a graduate performance diploma. In addition to her studies she participated in master classes given by Sena Jurinac, Grace Bumbry and Jonathan Morris. Nataša Antoniazzo is a soloist with the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb but also gives regular performances on many other European opera stages. Her diverse and far-reaching repertoire encompasses music from different styles starting with the baroque era and stretching all the way to the 21st century. Apart from her activities on the opera stage, Nataša Antoniazzo is also a much sought-after singer of lieder. She has been giving lieder recitals in many European concert venues and has been invited by radio stations to create her own radio programs. The singer also participates in chamber concerts and appears as a soloist with different orchestras.
Mia Elezović, pianist, was born in Zagreb, the daughter of a Japanese singer and a Croatian professor of theater studies and journalism. She studied piano with Zvezdana Basic at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, where she graduated 1994 at the age of 19 and in 2001 completed a master’s thesis. In 1995 she continued her piano studies with Hans Petermandl at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna. From there she went on to do graduate studies with Herbert Seidel at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts graduating in 2002. In May 2009 she completed a second master degree (Contemporary Performance Program) at the renowned Manhattan School of Music, New York. Already early on she started to concertize internationally. She has been giving numerous piano recitals in Europa, Qatar, Japan and the US but is also very much sought after as a chamber musician appearing with different ensembles. The pianist is the laureate of national and international piano competitions and has participated in numerous musical festivals around the world. As soloist she appeared with a number of orchestras and conductors all over the world.
